The insurance industry has also recognized our expertise with the Insurance Education Association utilizing our attorneys for many years as Instructors in the areas of current case law/statutory developments, and permanent disability rating (basic and advanced). Our clients are served by experienced workers’ compensation attorneys within our firm, with most having over 10 (ten) years of experience, and many are Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation by the State Bar of California. The law firm also has attorneys who are actively involved in leadership roles with organizations at the local and State levels with the goal of working toward improving the workers’ compensation system. Our attorneys are well known for their scholarly work, whether serving as an editor in the CEB treatise on Workers’ Compensation Practice, or frequently writing articles for the Workers’ Compensation Quarterly. We are also known for our emphasis on education. Our attorneys attend weekly meetings on the latest legal and procedural developments, and attend numerous seminars. We recognize that our clients also value staying current on workers’ compensation issues and that most recently the California Insurance Code requires claims examiners to have continuing education units. To assist our client’s educational needs, we have designed various one hour programs that qualify for the required units at no cost to our clients.
